Industry Day - Tactical Protective Equipment
The Federal Bureau of Prisons will hold an informational Industry Day for Tactical Protective Equipment on December 2–3, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST each day at 400 First Street NW, Rooms A/B/C, Washington, DC. The event is solely for market research to gather information on current products, technologies, and capabilities supporting a national contracting initiative beginning in Fiscal Year 2027, and it does not constitute a solicitation or commit the Government to award. Vendors must respond to the associated RFI and identify their desire to attend plus the specific equipment proposed for demonstration; only RFI responders will be assigned presentation slots of up to one hour, with additional setup/breakdown time allowed. Demonstrations should include physical items such as protective helmets, riot shields, body/limb protection, tactical uniforms, Level III-A tactical vests with ballistic plate inserts, gloves, batons, and related correctional emergency response equipment. Equipment must be non-weaponized and free of ammunition, chemical agents, OC products, pyrotechnics, or operational electronic discharge devices; the Government will provide tables, electricity, and display space, but vendors must provide their own display stands/mannequins, valid government-issued ID for access, and no internet will be available.
