This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is issued for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice. This notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP); it is a market research tool for determining the availability of qualified sources prior to issuing an RFP. The NAICS code is 237110 – Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction with a size standard of $45 million. Responses are requested from 8(a) firms only. The intent of this sources sought notice is to identify potential 8(a) firms capable of performing a multiple year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for piping and plumbing construction in Washington, DC. The results of this SSN will help determine if there is adequate industry interest to compete a construction IDIQ on an 8(a) set-aside basis. The results of this SSN may also be used to determine if a single-award or multiple-award IDIQ is appropriate for the requirement. All respondents MUST identify the primary nature of their business, business size in relation to the required NAICS codes, and their ability to execute the required capabilities. The Government will not pay for effort expended in responding to this notice. Estimated award date for this potential contract is September 2025.
