The Prisoner Operations Division is in search of an existing secured detention facility located with the geographic boundaries of the state of North Carolina with a capacity of 1,200 to about 1,500 beds. The requirement includes secure transportation services for the three (3) districts to include: USMS Justice Prisoner & Alien Transportation System airlifts, guard services (medical and non-medical), jail-to-jail transfers, and jail-to-court-to-jail transportation. Construction of a new facility is not a consideration for this requirement.
