Federal Prison Industries (FPI) known widely by our trade name, UNICOR is a crucial U.S. government program with a mission to rebuild the futures of individuals who have taken wrong turns in life. UNICOR's program trains federal offenders in valuable "real world" job and life skills which, upon release from prison will enhance their employment prospects and lead to reentry success within our communities. Our factories provide products/services to the Federal Government and to the private sector. A program within UNICOR is the Services Business Group/Interagency Solutions. This group provides procurement services to other government agencies. UNICOR is looking for General Contractors to provide the services in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) for various federal and DoD buildings throughout the United States. A task order will be issued to identify the location, clearance requirements and type of work needed for each project. UNICOR is soliciting for General Contractors to cover specific regions within the continental United States (CONUS) for specific services. The regions will be divided as follows: Northeast - Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont Mid-Atlantic - Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia South - Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Southern Virginia, and West Virginia. As well as Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands Midwest - Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin Southwest - Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona and Arkansas West - Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska, and Hawaii It is the intent of this contract to result in a one (1) base year with four (4) one year option years, if exercised, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract.
