Industry Day - GPS-Enabled Monitoring Devices

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Counterterrorism and Emergency Planning Branch will host an Industry Day focused on GPS-enabled monitoring devices with integrated two-way phone call capability and associated monitoring/data-management services. The event will be held October 13–14, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Washington, DC, with vendor presentations allotted up to 60 minutes. It seeks industry input on device capabilities and limitations, BOP system integration, data analytics/reporting, security and tamper detection, deployment/support, and correctional use cases. Target participants include device manufacturers, monitoring/data-management providers, software and systems integrators, security technology firms, and research and development organizations. This is a market-research Industry Day only; participation is voluntary at no cost, no contract award will result, and interested vendors should submit a brief capability statement as instructed.
