UNICOR intends to enter into a one (1) base year with four (4) option year firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for insulation and micore for the UNICOR factories in Coleman, FL, Ashland, KY, and Forrest City, AR. The solicitation number is FN1568-25 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal. Delivery date requested is 21 days for each delivery order. Variation in quantity +/-10 %. NAICS CODE IS 327999. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers on a multiple award basis. Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Federal Correctional Complex, 846 NE 54th Terrace, COLEMAN, FL 33521 ATTN: Peyton Perry (peyton.perry@usdoj.gov). FCC Coleman is requesting information regarding vendors interested in providing HP-5 liquid propane, also known as “consumer-grade” propane to the Federal Prison Industries located in Coleman, FL. This propane will be used to power forklifts in the workplace. The vender will need to provide and install one (1), five hundred (500) gallon liquid propane tank and pump. This tank will require filling weekly. The perspective vendor will also need to be able to provide twenty (20), eight (8) gallon, or thirty-three (33) pound steel cylinders, which will be filled from the larger tank and used in forklift operation. For safety purposes, the vendor will be responsible for recertifying and replacing (when necessary) the eight-gallon tanks or thirty-three pound cylinders yearly.
