BACKGROUND The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a responsibility to Relocate, Store, Maintain and Dispose of seized and/or forfeited Vehicles throughout the United States. This requirement is for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, District of Kansas, Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin specifically. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) The USMS is posting this announcement as an RFI only, for the upcoming solicitation that will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov. This RFI is issued for the purpose of identifying the availability of potential qualified sources that will be able to meet the requirement. The solicitation will be for the Towing, Storage, Maintenance and Disposal of Vehicles to the General Public as a customary business practice in the Chicago, Illinois, Indianapolis, Indiana, Kansas City, Kansas, Detroit, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan areas. The vehicle services contract will be for a base year and four (4) one-year options. There are five (5) locations of Contract Performance: i) 50 road miles of the USMS Northern District of Illinois, 219 S. Dearborn St. Chicago, IL 60604 ii) 50 road miles of the USMS Southern District of Indiana, 46 E Ohio St., Indianapolis, IN 46204 iii) 50 road miles of the USMS District of Kansas, 500 State Ave., Kansas City, KS 66101 iv) 50 road miles of the USMS Eastern District of Michigan, 231 W. Lafayette Blvd., Detroit, MI 48226 v) 50 road miles of the USMS Eastern District of Missouri, 111 10th Street, St. Louis, MO 63102 If you are interested in the upcoming solicitation, provide a capability statement addressing your company's ability to provide the related services. You are advised that providing your capability statement and responses to all questions that no entitlement to payment or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this RFI or the Government's use of such information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any contractor's input resulting from this RFI. In addition, you are advised that providing responses to the questions will not automatically include you in the acquisition process for this solicitation.
