This is a combined notification for three (3) DOJ task orders issued in accordance with 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B). The notice is provided for (1) DJJ-16-PSS-V-2670, 15JPSS23F00000287; (2) DJJ-16-PSS-V-2669, 15JPSS23F00000292 and (3) DJJ-16-PSS-V-2671, 15JPSS23F00000286. The attached justifications are prepared in accordance with the requirements of FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B) Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or highly specialized. Bridge task orders were issued for Asset Forfeiture Investigative Support Services (AFISS) to continue on-going services associated with existing law enforcement cases. Asset forfeiture financial investigations require specialized expertise and must be performed by a vendor that is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required. Further, the orders are in support of on-going cases and will allow OCDETF to obtain specialized services for routine and complex financial investigations in a rapidly changing law enforcement environment. DOJ is currently awarding new contracts for AFISS services.
