The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed price contract with MedAire, Address: 4722 North 24th Street, Suite 450, Phoenix, AZ 85016, for the purpose of providing inflight and ground medical control and logistic support internationally and domestically. MedAire is the resource for immediate expert medical care and logistics assistance for aircraft. Additionally, MedAire provides three Advanced Medical Kits and refurbishment for AED and kits for the period of one year. MedAire provides ground and in-flight support and biweekly status reports identifying completed activities, areas of risk and personnel tracking. Based on market research, it has been determined that this procurement action can only be facilitated with MedAire for continued uniformity for aircraft fleet support and training of personnel. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
