DJF192200PR0006167 The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed price contract with Aviation Specialties Unlimited Inc. for the purpose of acquiring two biannual night vision goggle (NVG) certifications for 32 White Phosphorous NVG and the basic functional evaluation of 6 Quad Tube NVGs. Inspections and repairs must be completed within a 24 hour period, from time of receipt to completion. The NVGs are to be shipped, inspected and returned to government post-inspection in no more than 5 business days. Vendor will pay for all shipping costs. Vendor must identify necessary repairs for government approval, prior to execution of repair. Based on market research, it has been determined that this procurement action can only be facilitated with Aviation Specialties Unlimited due to the required timeline for inspection and repair. This expedited timeline is critical to ensure operational readiness. The safety and security of operations is at stake. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
