This RFQ falls under FAR Parts 12 and 13. All vendors shall be signed up in SAM.GOV to do business with the federal government and have an active account to be considered for award. Failure to be registered and have an active account will result in the vendor being considered not technically acceptable. The vendor's DUNS# shall be submitted with their quote. NAICS code: 339115, Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturing Size standard: 1,000 employees The period of performance for this Purchase Order will be FOB Destination-Shipping/Delivery by August 17, 2019. Contractors interested in competing for this effort may participate by submitting quotes in accordance with the procedures set forth in this RFQ. All quotes shall be firm fixed price. Technical Requirements: • Tactical and low visibility protective eyewear for operations such as explosive breaching, close quarters firearms, and airborne operations. • Impact rated to Z87.1 or higher. • Must be able to bend/mold to fit different users' faces for adequate ballistic protection. • For TSI (low visibility) eyewear, must be non-alerting to general population. • Requires no tools to remove and swap lens during operations and replacement. • Ability to change tint due to operational demands in order to allow user to rapidly transition from light to dark environments. • From a reputable vendor that has quality control environment to test for impact ratings. ***See RFQ for full Terms and Conditions.
