The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed price contract with Mindful Badge LLC, 1333 NE Orenco Station Pkwy, Hillsboro Oregon, 97124, United States for the purpose of teaching resiliency and coping strategies to improve performance and safety in the face of extreme stress. The mindful skills practice leverages physical, cognitive and emotional behavioral adaptations. This training is the only of its kind that is proactive in nature and promotes coping tools through the science of mind-body and cognitive conditioning. Based on market research, it has been determined that only this procurement action can be facilitated with Mindful Badge LLC. It is provided by a retired police lieutenant with a specialized importance of safety geared toward trauma workers and first responders to optimize skills in awareness and compassion. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
