The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed price contract with 3M Peltor, address: 3M Center, Building 0235-02-W-70 St. Paul, MN 55144-1000, for the purpose of purchasing split audio tactical headsets, quantity of 28. This procurement is in support of an existing system throughout the FBI Tactical Section. Based on market research, it has been determined that only this procurement action can be facilitated with 3M Peltor for continued uniformity for this requirement. Uniformity is required for safety and communication values. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
