PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to sole source to Eastern Lift Truck CO for forklift repairs under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(i). The contractor shall provide services ranging from but not limited to: · Remove and replace various wheels, axels, and bearings. · Remove and replace various batteries. Cleaning necessary terminals and installing necessary hardware as needed. · Remove and replace various equipment indicators as needed. · Remove and replace equipment control handles as needed. · Install battery watering systems as applicable. · Remove and replace key switches as needed. · Remove and replace brake switches as needed. · Charge units as needed to test and repair. · Function test all units prior to return to service. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the Contracting Officer listed below by the closing date of this notice. Only emailed responses will be considered. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement.
