The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one-time, sole source basis to: TriMech Solutions, LLC, 4991 Lake Brook Drive, Suite 300, Glen Allen, VA 23060 for the purpose of providing SWOOD software as an add-on to our existing SolidWorks software. SWOOD is manufactured solely be Eficad and distributed through a network of their resellers. Currently, TriMech Solutions, LLC is the reseller for the state of Virginia which is the delivery point for this award. This software is proprietary in nature and must work with existing SolidWorks software. The resultant contract will fulfill the FBI’s requirement to bolster its design and fabrication efficiency in the woodworking environment. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
