The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: SPG Prints America, 3201 Rotary Drive, PO Box 26458, Charlotte, NC 28269 for the purpose of providing annual service for the SPG Prints Helios 6010 Image Setter at Quantico, VA. The material or service must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit, and function) with existing systems presently installed. The new item/service must coordinate, connect, or interface with the existing system by utilizing only SPG Prints trained repair personnel and SPG Prints manufactured and maintained service/repair parts/software upgrades. The resultant contract will fulfill the FBI's requirement to maintain this equipment which is mission critical. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
