THIS NOTICE IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY, AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The purpose of this notice is to comply with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(2). The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole-source, one-time, firm-fixed price contract to: ESI Equipment, Inc., 119 Keystone Drive, Montgomeryville, PA, 18936 for the purchase, outfitting, and installation of a SpaceKap WILD 6 40/60 transferrable service body onto one (1) FBI-owned 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 Pickup truck. ESI Equipment, Inc. is a small business concern. In Fiscal Year (FY) 2020, the FBI awarded a contract to ESI Equipment, Inc. to install custom outfitted SpaceKap transferable service bodies onto four (4) FBI-owned 2020 Dodge Ram Pickup trucks. Only ESI Equipment can equip this one (1) vehicle in FY 2021 to be compatible with the existing fleet of FBI Security Division pickup trucks. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 922120; this NAICS code is not applicable with size standards. Vendors must be registered in the System for Awards Management (https://sam.gov/SAM/) to receive Government contracts. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by March 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM, (EST). Emailed responses will only be considered. No phone calls. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses shall include the firm’s Dun and Bradstreet number and their business size. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
