Modification on 8/27 - Posting the Questions and Answers. See attachment "RFI - VDEL - QA" The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI), as defined in FAR 15.201(e). The Government is requesting information regarding the availability and capability of those companies who can provide software and services to meet the FBI’s Virtual Digital Evidence Locker requirement for storing and managing digital evidence. In order to obtain the requested information, the FBI will be hosting a virtual Vendor Day. The purpose of this event is to gather market research information regarding relevant Virtual Digital Evidence Locker (VDEL) capabilities, utilizing a software as a service (SaaS) deployment method. The information will serve as a market and technology survey which may be utilized to assist in the development of future FBI requirement(s) and/or solicitation(s). Please submit your responses to this RFI # DJF-20-184608 to Maria Hagedorn at mhagedorn@fbi.gov. The due date for capability statements is on or before September 2, 2020 by 2:00 pm Eastern Time. Questions: Submit all questions, in writing, to mhagedorn@fbi.gov . Questions shall be submitted no later than 1:00 pm on August 24, 2020. The due date for written vendor day responses is on or before September 16, 2020 by 1:00 pm Eastern Time.
