The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: Cohda Wireless America LLC, 3135 S. State Street, Suite 102, Ann Arbor, MI 48108 for the purpose of purchasing the MK6C Evaluation Kit and MK5 On Board Units. Cohda Wireless holds the patents for their propriety V2X components, to include the MK6C Evaluation Kit and MKS On-Board Units. The resultant contract will allow agents and other law enforcement personnel to have safe and reliable transmission of critical messages to complete daily investigations. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
