The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: Amped Software USA Inc, 18 Bridge Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 for the purpose of providing the Amped Five Professional SMS (Gov), Amped Authenticate SMS, and Amped DVRConv SMS software maintenance which are proprietary products only available from Amped Software. Amped Five is specifically designed for investigative, forensic, military and security applications. Its primary purpose is to provide a complete solution to process and restore, clarify, and analyze images and video in a simple, fast and precise way. The resultant contract will fulfill the FBI’s requirement to maintain and upgrade its software to ensure that scientific examinations conducted by the FBI Examiners have state of the art technology. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
