The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: Miller Electric Company, 6805 Southpoint Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32216 for the purpose of upgrading the existing CRx system to the ACRx model at the TIAA Bank Center located at 301 West Bay Street, Jacksonville, FL. The TIAA Bank Center is managed by a site management company that restricts and controls any work done to the TIAA rooftop for liability reasons. The management company has dictated that the FBI use Miller Electric Company for the removal of legacy cabling throughout the building and installation of new cabling for this project. The resultant contract will fulfill the FBI's requirement to upgrade the existing Central Receive Microwave System and install a Cambium PTP-820G backhaul radio link connecting the ACRx node to the Jacksonville Field Office. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
