The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: Altec Industries, Inc, 210 Inverness Center Drive, Birmingham, AL 35242 for the purpose of repairing two Altec Bucket Trucks. Required repairs include: replace hose in the hose carrier assembly; operationally test unit from upper and lower controls after hose bundle or pilot bundle replacement; PM inspection: one year interval; midsize aerials under 50 with or without material handling; dielectric test; cat b/c; boom (ISO grip if applicable); supplies and environmental disposal. The resultant contract will fulfill the FBI's requirement to have operational bucket trucks in support of the Technically Trained Agent (TTA) Training Program. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
