The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: Elevated Wireless, LLC, 405 Jester Ridge, New Braunfels, TX 78130 for the purpose of providing the following professional services: removal and disposal of one 22 foot DB264 Omni antenna side mounted at 632 feet and about 720 feet of LDF550 7/8 inch Heliax cable; installation of one new Commander 2207N / 19.5 foot antenna site mounted; installation of about 720 feet of new CommScope AVA750 1 5/8 inch Heliax cable; installation of connectors, hoisting grips, coax securement and ground kits on new cable; sweep testing of cable post installation to ensure integrity of cable; and supply and paint two coats of paint on new coax at the New Braunfels tower in Texas. Only Crown Castle (tower owner) approved contractors can complete this work. Elevated Wireless is the only one of two approved contractors to provide a quote. The resultant contract will fulfill the FBI's requirement to repair faulty equipment at this site. This will allow agents and other law enforcement personnel to have a functioning communication system to complete daily investigations. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
