The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: Control Laser Corporation dba CLC, 7101 Tpc Drive, Orlando, FL 32822 to purchase an XY Table with Start Up, Commissioning and Customization. This is an upgrade for an existing FALIT Benchtop Laser Decapsulation system to improve stabilization and accuracy capabilities with repeatability of results at 0.002 inches. Parts for this highly specialized equipment are only sold directly by CLC and utilizing CLC for this effort will ensure this system remains within the warranty/maintenance agreement. The resultant contract will fulfill the FBI's requirement to analyze and recover data from damaged electronic devices for investigative support. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
