The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: Allied High Tech Products, Inc., 2376 E. Pacifica Pl., Compton, CA 90220 for the purpose of providing a Visible Light Spectrometer for X-Prep Vision, Part number 15-51000, which includes the camera, Part number 15-50020, and is a proprietary product only available from Allied High Tech Products. This attachment is highly specialized, uses the latest technology available, and integrates seamlessly with a previously purchased X-Prep Precision Milling System. The resultant contract will fulfill the FBI's requirement to quickly, precisely, and reliably analyze electronic devices extending measurements of silicon below 10um to 0.1 microns. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
