The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: Collective Data, Inc., 460 12th Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401 for the purpose of acquiring the inventory database software Collective Quartermaster 6 and configuration service. This is a proprietary product only available from Collective Data, Inc. which can be utilized anywhere in the world to allow immediate access and the ability to make up-to-date changes to government accountable items and their locations. The resultant contract will fulfill the FBI's requirement to maintain accurate records of all government equipment that is deployed worldwide and stored locally at Quantico. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
