This is a Brand Name Only requirement for the Digi International IX25, based on DEA Radio’s standardized cellular architecture, configuration baselines, carrier connectivity, routing, firewall rules, IPsec VPN parameters, firmware management, documentation, and administrator support processes. Cybersecurity and cryptographic compliance are material requirements; the IX25 platform supports secure IPsec VPN communications through Digi’s DAL operating environment and a FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic module under the NIST Cryptographic Module Validation Program. Agency communications over commercial cellular networks must use approved cryptographic protections consistent with NIST SP 800-53 SC-13.
