DESCRIPTION This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice. This is not a request for proposals and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. All responsible businesses, including small businesses, are encouraged to respond to this notice. The information requested by this notice will be used within the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside the agency. The DEA will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Unsolicited proposals or offers of any kind will not be considered in response to this notice. All information received in response to this notice that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to this notice will not be returned. The DEA Aviation Division is seeking information from potential sources who are capable of providing an Air Compressor and installation. This project will allow 6 evidence specialists to move the pallet racks and movable shelves with ease, while still facilitating an environment where the staff can move about the vault space in forklifts for the purpose of moving evidence boxes, pallets, and bins containing heat sealed evidence envelopes in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). At this time, questions concerning the composition and requirements for a future solicitation, as well as those regarding the nature of the on-site repair services and installation of shelving units to be provided will not be accepted. REQUIREMENTS The DEA Aviation Division is seeking information from potential sources to provide an Air Compressor as follows: (Quantity 1, Unit each) - Oil-Free Scroll Air Compressor (Motor: (4) 5 HP, IE3 TEFC Motors, Voltage: 460V 3 Phase 60Hz, Capacity: 49.3CFM @ 100PSI, 145PSI Maximum Operating Pressure, Pack Unit: External air treatment recommended, Floor Mount Unit: External Air Receiver Recommended, Advanced Microprocessor Control: MK5 Graphic, Includes automatic water separator drain, Footprint: 65”L x 30”W x 73”H (Quantity 1, Unit each) - Installation (Quantity 1, Unit each) - Shipping RESPONSES Interested vendors who believe it possesses the necessary capabilities to meet the Air Compressor requirements identified herein should submit a technical description of their capabilities. Interested vendors' capability statement responses shall include, but not limited to: technical capability, description, and relevant past performance. The DEA will evaluate market information – including responses received in regards to this posting – to determine the potential market capacity to: Provide the Air Compressor with the existing scope with those described herein. Interested vendors shall also include any comments or questions in regards to the on-site repair services and installation of shelving units. This shall be a separate document entitled: “Comments & Questions; D-25-L5-0009; (Include COMPANY NAME). This document will not be included in the page limitation count for an interested vendor’s respective response noted below. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS If your company has the potential capacity to provide the necessary Air Compressor and installation, please provide the following information: Company name; mailing address; physical address; point of contact; telephone number; fax number; e-mail address; DUNS number; NAICS code; company business size (if small, indicate type); and GSA schedule number (if applicable). A tailored capability statement between one and fifteen (15) pages that address the particulars of the “Requirements” section above, with appropriate documentation that clearly support the claims of organizational and staff capability. A representative sample of contracts the vendor’s firm was awarded that are similar in scope to the requirements as described in this notice within the past three years. For each contract listed, include the type of contract; total estimated value; contract period of performance (e.g., installation and transitioning of information); customer (i.e. federal agency) and respective point of contact (e.g., point of contact’s name, phone number, and e-mail address).
