The Contractor shall provide Physical Science Technicians to perform laboratory tasks in support of laboratory operations. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: a) Preparing routine solutions and reagents b) Performing reliability testing c) Preparing internal standard, calibrant and quality control solutions d) Operating laboratory instrumentation for the collection of data in support of performance verification, method validation, and reference material verification e) Performing qualitative and quantitative method validations f) Conducting inventory of reference materials, stockpiles, chemical and stock solutions, and laboratory equipment. g) Conducting instrument performance checks and maintenance. h) Verifying reference materials i) Conducting stockroom supply inventory j) Restocking the supply room. k) Submitting supply order requests l) Cleaning and leveling balances m) Conducting balance calibration checks n) Daily cleaning and distribution of laboratory glassware
