This Special Notice is posted pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), intends to award a sole source purchase order to JK Moving and Storage, Inc., 44112 Mercure Circle Ste 1, Sterling, VA, 20166-2017, for continued moving services. All communication regarding this posting shall be in writing and received on or before 10:00 am (ET) May 26, 2020. Point of contact is Nancy Costello at nancy.a.costello@usdoj.gov. The proposed purchase order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with JK Moving and Storage. A redacted version of the Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) is attached. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 484210. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
