This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is CT2346-24 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposals (RFP). The North American Industry Classification System code is 339993 fastener, button, needle, and pin manufacturing. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to enter into a five (5) year fixed price requirements type contract with one (1) year base period and four (4) renewal one-year options (if exercised), and with an Economic Price Adjustment for the following commercial item(s): Berry Amendment Zippers/Fasteners for Department of Defense items. The finished products are for sale to the DLA Troop Support (Defense Logistics Agency). ALL LINES MUST BE BERRY AMENDMENT COMPLIANT, 100% USA DOMESTIC ONLY, MANUFACTURED ENTIRELY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. THIS IS TO INCLUDE THE RAW MATERIALS. NO FOREIGN ITEMS OR COMPONENTS ARE ACCEPTABLE.
