This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is CT2318-22 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06 dated 05/26/2022. The North American Industry Classification System code is 314999 (All other miscellaneous textile product mills). This requirement is UNRESTRICTED. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to enter into a THREE (3)year, firm-fixed-price, requirements contract with one (1) base year and two (2) option years, and with a EPA clause for the following commercial item(s): QUILTED LINING, GOLD, 6" DIAMOND PATTERN, WIDTH 60" USEABLE. The quilted lining is for use in manufactoring inmate jackets and coats for sale to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
