This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and the solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website. The solicitation number is CT2271-19 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101. The North American Industry Classification System code is 325998 all other miscellaneous chemical product manufacturing. The SBA small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is set-aside 100% for Small Business. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a one (1) year with two (2) options firm-fixed price Requirements type contract with an EPA clause for the following commercial item: brown dye 436 (powder), standard drum size 275 Lbs, application for dyeing brown 436 in color pad batch method. Dye is used to dye 100% cotton towels for sale to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The test methods that are applicable are: AATCC Test Method 61-2013 and AATCC Test Method 15-2013.
