This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is CT2264-19 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01. The North American Industry Classification System code is 332613, Spring Manufacturing. This requirement is UNRESTRICTED. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, intends to enter into a three (3) year firm-fixed price, requirements type contract with an EPA clause for the following commercial items: Innersprings for use in the manufacture of bedding mattresses, quarters/barracks folding type. The finished goods are for sale to the General Services Administration (GSA), DoD Military Branches, and other federal government agencies.
