This justification for other than full and open competition supports Purchase Order number 15B60821FWA110376 for the emergency purchase of flex trays at FCI Phoenix under FAR Clause FAR 6.302- 2. Delay in award of a contract would result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government. It is determined that the procurement of flex trays at FCI Phoenix, meets the criteria established for other than full and open competition for the product required. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b) (1) (i), it has been determined that the unique and urgent circumstances of the proposed contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The delay in an open bid prolongs the cost to Government in the reoccurring purchase of foam clams and securing the safety and orderly running of the institution. This purchase order has been awarded to Jones Zylon Company LLC (DUNS #: 079554920) on 08/06/2021.
