This justification for other than full and open competition supports Purchase Order number 15B60821PW1Z10001 for the emergency replacement of the fuel pumps at FCI Phoenix under FAR Clause FAR 6.302-2. Delay in award of a contract would result in serious financial implications, to the Government. It is determined that the procurement of replacement of the fuel pump at FCI Phoenix, meets the criteria established for other than full and open competition for the product required. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b) (1) (i), it has been determined that the unique and urgent circumstances of the proposed contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The delay in an open bid prolongs the cost to Government in purchasing fuel on fleet credit cards. This purchase order has been awarded to Acton Contracting, LLC (DUNS #: 839373177) on 07/12/2021.
