This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the number is RFQ 15B20724PR000185. The U.S. Penitentiary in Lewisburg intends to enter into a firm-fixed price contract for the following commercial items: **Pricing must include delivered price. To 2400 Robert F. Miller Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837 Quantity: 2 1000 Gallon Factory Jacketed and Insulated Storage Tank -Tanks are to be constructed to the requirements of the ASME. -Tanks are to be vertical, round. -Cabinet. Heavy gauge steel with high quality paint. -Glasslined (standard)- for water storage up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit with glass lining to prevent corrosion and adding rust to the water. -Entire tank is to be insulated to meet ASHRAE 90.1 (current edition) depth of insulation cavity requires use of remote bulb-type tank temperature control and thermometer. Storage tanks meet R12.5 minimum thermal insulation requirements of the U.S. Department of Energy and current edition of ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1 -Tanks must have Cathodic protection- must have anodes designed for maximum protection Trade off will be considered when evaluating price. Lowest price technically acceptable will not be an evaluation factor.
