The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS) is seeking information from responsible sources and commercial agencies concerning aircraft weight & balance/performance services. Introduction: This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is being issued to help the Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS) better understand the capabilities of and availability of aircraft weight & balance/performance services, as well as industry best practices related to procuring similar aircraft weight & balance/performance services. This RFI/SSN is published for market research purposes. It is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. It is for information and planning purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the U.S. Marshals Service/Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation Service (USMS/JPATS). Purpose: The USMS/JPATS is conducting market research and is seeking written responses with information to assist the Government with identifying potential sources that are interested in and capable of performing the work described in the draft Statement of Work (SOW). The Government is also seeking to obtain industry comments and questions regarding the planned SOW. Contract Requirements: The Government intends to procure aircraft weight & balance/performance services. The contractor shall provide access to an engineer-based aircraft performance calculation engine that provides specific performance and operational criteria to create the most engine efficient aircraft weight & balance/performance specifications between any two points worldwide. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by May 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. CST. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice, capabilities packages, information and/or feedback, shall be emailed to Victor.J.Stamps@usdoj.gov. All parties are asked to respond with documentation outlining their capabilities and provide feedback on the capabilities listed within this RFI/SSN. In addition to submitting your capabilities, please respond to this announcement by completing the Market Research Questionnaire. Any questions concerning this announcement shall be in writing (e-mail) to the POC listed. No telephone calls will be accepted. Based on the responses to this Request for Information (RFI)/ Sources Sought Notice (SSN), This requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition.
