Amendment 0001 - The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate answers to questions received in response to this solicitation. ************************************************************* This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a United States Marshals Service Request for Proposal (15M20020QA32OS005) for an annual X-ray Service and Repair Contract for Smiths Detection x-ray machines CONUS & OCONUS. The equipment is currently in use at U.S. Courthouses and federally owned or leased facilities within the United States and its territories. The Contractor shall provide all labor, technical support, troubleshooting analysis, travel expenses, software, and all replacement parts (inclusive of shipment costs) that are required for each service call for the x-ray machines located throughout the United States and its territories. The Government intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)contract. The resulting contract will be Fixed-Price (fixed rate) with a one-year Base Period and four (4) one-year Option Periods. All future information about this solicitation, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
