The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) is gathering information on available security screening technologies to support current and future operations at Federal courthouses and other facilities. This "Screening 2035" initiative aims to understand current solutions, their use, and opportunities to improve effectiveness and long-term sustainment. The information will help develop an approved products list for a wide range of facilities and operational needs. Successful security solutions will be implemented over several years on a facility-by-facility basis. The USMS also seeks to reduce operator training, optimize maintenance costs, and minimize downtime by right-sizing equipment packages.
