The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Western District of Texas (W/TX) requires one (1) custom off-grid operational trailer to support USMS W/TX operations. In accordance with FAR 12.603(c)(2), the following is provided: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is 15M10324QA4700026 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-06. (iv) This required is total small business set-aside. NAICS code is 336212 with a size standard 1,000. (v) See attached SF1449 (vi) The contractor shall supply one (1) custom off-grid operational trailer in accordance with the attached technical specifications. (vii) Contractor shall deliver product no later than 12/31/2024 (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Additional instructions are as follows: Quotes shall be submitted in two (2) separate volumes as follows: Volume 1 – Technical Quote Contractor shall provide a technical quote that meets and/or exceeds the technical specifications attached to this solicitation. Technical quote shall include pictures and/or CAD drawings of quoted product. Volume 2 – Price Quote Signed and completed SF1449 Signed solicitation amendments (i.e. SF30) (if applicable) (ix) In accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(3), the Government will perform an evaluation using a comparative evaluation. The Government will compare quotes to one another to select the contractor that is the most advantageous in terms of technical capability and price. Multiple awards will not result from this solicitation. (x) Offerors shall be registered at SAM.Gov in order to be eligible for award. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) A statement that the clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. See FAR 52.212-5 for additional clauses that pertain to this requirement. (xiii) Exceptions. Any exceptions to this Request for Quote or the Statement of Work will not be accepted by the U.S. Marshals Service. (xiv) Not used. (xv) Quotes are due no later than August 19, 2024 at 12:00pm (EST) and shall be emailed to gregory.hermsen@usdoj.gov. (xvi) No telephone calls will be accepted. All questions concerning the solicitation must be submitted in writing. Written inquires will be answered in writing via amendment, however, because of the response time, no such inquiries will be considered if received after 12:00pm (EST) on August 16, 2024.
