Amendment A0001 is to extend the deadline through April 19, 2023 at 12:00 ET and provide questions, clarifications, and/or answers. The principal purpose of this BPA is to provide access to an Automated Translation and Transcription Platform, hereinafter referred to as “The Platform”, for use within the Department’s Components. The Platform will perform machine translation of foreign language documents and automated transcription of audio and video files stored in Relativity. In addition, the Platform will leverage AI-enabled apps and automated workflows for electronic discovery of unstructured electronically stored information (ESI), including dash camera, body camera, closed captioning television (CCTV), interview room, voicemails, call center data and other audio/video evidence possible and allowing reviewers to search audio and video files for keywords relevant to the case. Required capabilities include processing large amounts of data and automating transcription and translation of text documents and audio/video files, which will allow DOJ components to accelerate the process of searching and identifying evidence from multiple file formats.
