This is a notice in accordance with FAR Part 5 that the Department of Justice has exercised and approved sole source contractual authority for urgent and compelling circumstances. Although the contract was executed on September 29 and issued early for the reasons listed in the attachment, the notice could not be posted until today as the justification draft was only recently finalized.
