This justification was prepared by the United States Department of Justice (herein after Department or DOJ), in accordance with the requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)16.505(b)(2)(ii)(B)(C)(1). The requiring organization is the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Service delivery Staff (SDS). The contracting activity is the Justice Management Division (JMD) Procurement Services Staff (PSS). The JSTARS application is a web and role-based system that runs in a virtual environment on a Windows server with Apache Tomcat application servers and Microsoft SQL Server database(s). The underlying software package for the application is EntelliTrak software which has been configured for DOJ use. Please see justification for further documentation.
