The Department of Justice, Office of Public Affairs (PAO) has a need for a contractor to provide news clipping services to inform the Attorney General and the Department of Justice on daily issues and current events. This solicitation will be awarded to one qualified Contractor on a fixed price basis for all services contained in the Statement of Work. A qualified firm shall have experience in the NAICS code related to this requirement sufficient enough to determine which daily news stories and news media are considered major as it relates to the requirements contained in this solicitation. The NAICS is 519190 (All Other Information Services). The solicitation inlcuding all instructions for response and any quesitons are attached. The Government intends to conduct this procurement through a multi-phased submission and evaluation process. No additional Questions will be accepted after the Phase 1 Question period has passed. The Government will provide an answer to all questions received in accordance with the instructions for the Phase 1 Question period. Amendment 1- Amendment is issued to inform vendors that all references to DUNs number in the solicitation will be updated to reference Selected Unique Entity ID (SAM) with the next amendment. Amendment 2- Amendment is issued to provide responses to questions that are available at this time. The Government is reviewing the questions and will provide the remaining responses once they are available. The Government does not anticipate a change to the remaining solicitation event schedule at this time. Any changes to the solicitation event schedule will be provided by COB on 4/22. All references to DUNs are updated as stated in Amendment 1. Amendment 3- Amendment is issued to provide responses to questions that were not previously provided. The Government will have some minor updates to the solicitation based on the responses, however, the RFQ event schedule remains the same for Phase 1 and Phase 2. The amended RFQ, Attachment 1 will be posted by no later than 4/25. Amendment 4- Amendment is issued to add revised Attachment 1. The amendment also updates RFQ page 10, B.Pricing Spreadsheet. Amendment 5- Updates the solicitation close date to May 18, 2022. Delete all references to May 17 and replace with May 18 as the solicitation due date for Phase 2 responses.

PSS intends to issue a solicitation for DOJ Public Affairs News Clipping Services. The solicitation will be for a qualified firm to (1) provide review of a wide-ranging scope of news outlets; (2) summarize the news as applicable to the Department’s complex legal environment; and (3) provide deliverables that capture relevant news relating to Justice Department legal environment and activities. DOJ estimates that the solicitation will be issued on or about April 8, 2022 and the solicitation will be posted to SAM.gov’s Contracting Opportunities with the solicitation number.
