This Notice is for informational purposes only. DOJ intends to issue a firm-fixed priced purchase order for membership in the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS) for a term of 1 year. Under the FAR, Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This requirement is using procedures in FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with procedures under FAR Part 13. This is not an RFQ or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. It is merely notification of DOJ's intent to acquire this membership from NLETS. There will be no solicitation, therefore, requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be acknowledged. A determination by DOJ to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of DOJ. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. DOJ doesn't intend to pay for information provided in response to this notice. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain enough documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. A purchase order will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
