This solicitation is to provide bi-annual (two times per year) inspection, preventative maintenance services, and necessary parts and repairs of 46 rolling steel doors, 1 (one) side coiling security gate, and 2 (two) upward coiling gates located at the CJIS Division campus in Clarksburg, West Virginia. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Government intends to award a five year contract (base year with potentially four (4) one-year options) based on best value. Amendment 1 - March 16, 2023 - Answering questions received Q. Provide clarification on how to price CLIN 2? Is this CLIN intended to serve as an inspection and diagnosis fee? With quoting to occur afterward? There is a mention of material price, but that usually would be calculated after inspecting the unit in need of repair. A. CLIN 1 includes the bi-annual inspection and associated preventative maintenance work to maintain normal operation of the rolling doors. CLIN 2 is the cost of Time and Materials to cover any unscheduled repairs or services required to restore normal operation not included in manufacturer recommended preventative maintenance.
