The government’s intent is to establish a firm fixed price award with delivery no later than 45 days after receipt of order (ARO). Vendor should submit a quote with a Product Authorization Letter from the manufacture of the product(s), all technical specifications for each proposed line item must be included in quote. The requested hardware when combined creates a unique system configuration that has been extensively tested and is part of an Approval to Operate (ATO) requirement being sought by FBI Redstone. If these specific brand-named products are not purchased the following issues would occur: • Different hardware solutions would not integrate with current code being deployed • Current processes in place for warranty and support would be hindered • Additional product lines would increase time to provide resolution due to lack of knowledge of additional products lines, testing for integration, and training. • Programming code and components would need to be specific for each system installed, expanding installation time, and increasing costs • Support would take longer due to different products for each site • Security may experience interruptions to surveillance video resulting in gaps in the FBI’s security posture and operational readiness.
