Background The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is issuing this Sources Sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for establishing, managing, and operating Fitness Center Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Services. The Government expects the Contractor to operate the Fitness Center to include on-site fitness center coordination, program coordinator, certified personal trainer, equipment maintenance and repair staff, fitness center management staff and ensure a complete, effective, well-balanced, exercise and equipment maintenance program. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 713940. Contractor Qualifications If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: Firm Information: Organization name (Legal/DBA), Address, Point of Contact (POC), E-mail address, Website address, Telephone number, DUNS Number, Cage Code, Facility Clearance (if applicable), GSA Schedule (if applicable), and Size and type of ownership for the organization A brief description of at least two (2), but no more than three (3), Fitness Center O&M services similar to the requirements described within the Background Section above. The prior services provided shall be within the past fifteen (15) years. Minimum information should include the following: contract number, total contract value, project location, period of performance, and a brief description of the services. Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. Information and suggestions that may encourage new, different, or innovative approaches that would result in products, solutions, and direct savings to the FBI. Contemplated Requirement The FBI is issuing this Sources Sought to: Gather industry information on the enclosed requirements. Request information on any industry changes or improvements that the FBI should consider when looking to achieve products and capabilities that meet requirements and are compatible with the commercial environment. Request information on potential barriers to obtaining solutions that meet objectives needed to accomplish stated requirements. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to: Provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. Secure and apply the full range of corporate financial, human capital, and technical resources required to successfully perform similar requirements. Implement a successful project management plan that includes compliance with program schedules; cost containment; meeting and tracking performance; hiring and retention of key personnel and risk mitigation. Provide services under a performance-based service acquisition contract.
