Please note the following important information: the requirement for a replacement knee wall is removed; and there will be no demolition or disposal of existing equipment by the contractor, this will be completed by facility personnel. The due date for quotes is revised to 15 August 2021 at 11:59 PM CDT. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for delivery, assembly, and installation of forty-eight (48) new firing range targets with two (2) 65’ moving target carriage systems to include all infrastructure, wiring, conduits, control boxes, concrete footings, etc. A replacement knee wall must also be constructed. The FBI intends to issue a one-time, competitive, firm-fixed-price purchase order for this requirement. This acquisition is being solicited as a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339920, Sporting and Athletic Goods Manufacturing, with a business size standard of 750 employees. Please see attachment for details.
